Trivia

• The float depicted a train, ducks, a giraffe & a bear.
• 3,000 hours of construction & installation of flowers went to the making of the float.
• The eye headlights on the little engine that could, moved back and forth, and steam came out of the smokestack.
• The wheels & pistons turned and locomotive engine sounds came from the float.
• After the 7AM judging, the princesses sat aboard the float singing train songs to 100's of people passing by. "It was a very sincere & emotional thing for them to do," said Marvin Case of the Reflector.
• The Golden Rose was the 4th highest award overall & the highest award the community could win in our category.
