- This was Battle Ground's 50th consecutive entry in the Grand Floral Parade.
- Float featured a horse & buggy to simulate the first float.
- The float contained a large movie camera covered with thistle, which displayed a movie reel of pictures of past floats.
- The horse was carved out of Styrofoam by local artist, Auston Barton.
- BG Bee has ridden the float since 1990.
- A field trip from local schools brought in children for educational purposes.
